Jungle Herd pegasi come in various shades of brown. Their feathers resemble leaves, being typically green or brown in colour, and they have adapted their battle techniques so as to fit the harsh rigours of their rainforest home. Their feathers are specially-coated.

Jungle Herd steeds maintain Spiderwing's nest, adding small gifts of feathers or pebbles. The nest gets larger every year with each new tribute.
Several fighting techniques that aren't observed in any of the other herds would be the hoof-holds, which allow a pegasus to remain suspended among the canopy of the forest, overlooking any possible invaders or predators. They also use two main different kinds of projectiles - zappers and bone-breakers. Zappers are small, hard-to-aim pebbles, while bone-breakers are large rocks that, true to their name, can break bones..
